INNOVATIVE EC SYSTEM:
FROM E-GOVERNMENT AND E-LEARNING TO CUSTOMER-TO-CUSTOMER
E-COMMERCE
E-government is the use of information technology in general, and e-commerce in particular, to provide citizen and organizations with more convenient access to government information and services and to provide delivery of public service to citizen, business partner, and those working in the public sector.
E-democracy is use of EC and electronic communications technologies, such as the internet, in enhancing democratic processes within a democracy country.
The Several major categories :
- Government-to-Citizen (G2C) that includes all the actions between a government and its citizens.
- Government-to-Business (G2B) that includes interactions between governments and businesses (Government selling to businesses and providing them with services and businesses selling products and services to government).
- Government-to-Government (G2G) that includes activities within government units and those between governments.

- Internal efficiency and effectiveness (IEE) provide the services:
E-Payroll, E-records management, E-training, Enterprise case management, Integrated acquisition, Integrated human resources, and One-stop recruitment.
The transformation to E-government
These stage are :
- Stage 1 : Information publishing / dissemination.
- Stage 2 : “official” two way transactions with one department at a time.
- Stage 3 : Multipurpose portals
- Stage 4 : Portals personalization
- Stage 5 : Clustering of common services
- Stage 6 : Full integration and enterprise transformation
- Stage 7 : Transition to social computing
M-Government (Mobile Government) is the wireless implementation of e-government mostly to citizens but also to business.
E-Learning
The online delivery of information for purposes of education training, or knowledge management.
Distance Learning is formal education that take place off campus, usually, but not always, through online resources.
Virtual University is an online university from which students take classes from home or other offsite location, usually via the internet.
Edutainment
The combination of education and entertainment, often through games.
Online Publishing is the electronic delivery of newspapers, magazines, books, news, music, video, and other digitize-able information over the internet.
Knowledge Management (KM) is the process of capturing or creating knowledge, storing it, updating it constantly, disseminating it, and using it whenever necessary.
Knowledge Portal is a single point of access software system intended to provide timely access to information and to support communities of knowledge workers.
Expert location system
Interactive computerized system that help employees find and connect with colleagues who have expertise required for specific problems- whether they are across the country or across the room-in order to solve specific, critical business problems in seconds.
C2C activities consist of conducting e-commerce with other consumers, mainly in auctions. Example: eBay.
